How long does it take to set-up a Gemesys account?

Gemesys is made to be super quick to set-up. With our step-by-step company set-up and on-site tour – you can get started in 10 minutes.

When creating your company you can import categories and attributes from a selection of options, making building your store take no time at all.

As if that wasn’t enough, if you don’t have the time to jump into our drag and drop website builder you can simply update the colours and fonts in Settings > Website, point a domain to your domainkey domain and you will be online in no time.

What transaction or account fees are charged?

You can check out the cost of an account on the pricing page of the website. 

In addition to account charges, Gemesys charges commission on all products sold via the public and trade marketplaces. These are currently 8% and 6% respectively (as of Oct. 2022).

Fees are charged for use of card terminals and these are explained fully in our terminal pricing and fees section of the terms and conditions.

Payments via the website are covered in the terms and conditions. In addiont to these fees an optional flat application fee of 30p is charged on all website purchases or up to 3% on disputed payments.

Currently we provide all payment methods embedded into Gemesys. We do plan to allow users to add further payment methods at a later date, but currently we can allow payments via the following methods:

Can I integrate Gemesys with my existing website or ePOS?

Yes, Gemesys can import your stock, categories and customers from an existing eCommerce or marketplace platform and sync all future purchases and stock movements.
